In January 2015, workers enrolled in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) can collect coverage for the cessation of their activity, to be entitled to coverage must meet the following requirements:

You must contribute to the coverage of cessation of activity.

You must be registered in the system (RETA) and up to date with Social Security payments at the time of requesting coverage.

You must demonstrate your activity in the 12 months prior to the cessation of the activity, including the month of cessation.

You must demonstrate a minimum period of registration in RETA.

Your age must be below retirement age.

You have to prove that the cessation of activity corresponds to a supervening economic situation (loss of your business by at least 10%), loss of license or force majeure.

You must undertake to attend all calls from the SEPE for training, entrepreneurship or vocational guidance.
